Curious Creators (Building & Sensory Creation)

Reserve a Spot

Hands-on building and sensory creation to spark innovation and fine motor skills. Roll up your sleeves for a full hour of child-led creative discovery! Ages 2–6 explore changing weekly invitations — magnetic-tiles, kinetic sand, play dough, sensory tables, collaborative painting, and more — in a private cloud room.

Curious Creators is a wonderful introduction to sensory play, building, and process art, offering endless opportunities for creative discovery in a private event room. Weekly-changing invitations to play — from magnetic-tiles and kinetic sand sculpting to play dough stations, sensory bins, collaborative canvas painting, water tables, and fine/gross motor challenges — let your child move freely and gravitate toward what sparks their interest most. This child-led hour allows little ones to work at their own pace with age-appropriate, taste-safe materials, while peer collaboration encourages communication, language development, and early socialization. Parents join in the fun, fostering friendships and community for both children and caregivers. Roll up your sleeves, create together, and leave the mess to us — it’s pure, joyful exploration backed by Cloudbound’s developmental expertise.

Developmental Theme: Fine motor precision, spatial reasoning, collaborative problem-solving, and social-emotional growth.

Why It’s Great for Your Child’s Development: This hands-on class builds fine motor skills and spatial reasoning through building and sculpting, helping kids solve problems and think like little engineers—research shows that activities like block play predict stronger math and STEM success later on. Parent-child joint creation boosts persistence and planning, turning playtime into real brain gains for ages 2–6

Science Backing: Open-ended construction and sensory play predict later STEM success by enhancing visuospatial skills (Verdine et al., 20141; Wolfgang et al., 20012). Child-led process art with peers boosts language, socialization, and executive function through collaborative exploration (Ferrara et al., 20113; Case-Smith & Arbesman, 20084).

Art & Play Explorers (Process Art & Sensory Expression)

Reserve a Spot

Creative expression through painting, crafting, and playful art to ignite imagination and emotional articulation. Unwind with an hour of process art and sensory play in a private cloud studio! Ages 2–6 explore weekly-changing invitations — painting, play dough, sensory tables, water play, and more — perfect for relaxing creativity.

Art & Play Explorers is a wonderful introduction to process art and sensory play, offering endless opportunities for creative discovery and exploration of new materials in a private event room. Ideal for little ones (especially those in full-day school who crave afternoon unwind time), weekly-changing invitations let children move freely throughout the studio, gravitating toward what sparks their joy most. This child-led hour allows your little artist to work at their own pace with age-appropriate activities like collaborative painting, play dough sculpting, sensory tables, water play, fine/gross motor crafts, and unique textured experiences. Peer collaboration encourages communication and socialization, while the relaxed vibe fosters friendships and community for both children and caregivers. Roll up your sleeves, dive into the colors and textures together, and leave the clean-up to us — it’s joyful, pressure-free creativity that feels like a mini vacation.

Developmental Theme: Sensory creativity, emotional regulation, symbolic representation, and social-emotional growth.

Why It’s Great for Your Child’s Development: Sensory art like painting and crafting helps kids regulate emotions and express themselves, improving vocabulary and self-control—studies link multi-sensory play to better emotional awareness and pre-literacy skills. Adding rhythm to creativity enhances focus and language foundations, making this a fun way for 2-6-year-olds to build resilience and communication.

Science Backing: Process-focused sensory art improves emotional vocabulary and self-regulation by engaging the somatosensory cortex (Dunn, 20075; White, 20156). Child-led collaborative play with peers boosts language development, socialization, and inhibitory control (Moritz et al., 20137; Case-Smith & Arbesman, 20088).

Zumbini™ (music and movement class)

Reserve a Spot

45-minute music and movement class offered for children age 2-6 and a caregiver. Instrument-shaking, music-making, and dance step-taking class that is something special. ZumbiniTM is an early-childhood treasure. Bells and drums blend together in harmony. Young children laugh as they run, dance, and freeze on cue to fun songs such as “Flamenco Flamingo” and “Like A Kangaroo.” Parents and grandparents join their children, singing and learning about music genres from all around the world.

Developmental Theme: Holistic Early Childhood Growth through Music, Movement, and Caregiver Interaction. Zumbini classes emphasize integrated development by combining original music, rhythmic dance, instrument play, and global genres to foster cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and bonding skills in children aged 0-4, all within a joyful, interactive environment shared with caregivers.

Why It’s Great for Your Child’s Development: Zumbini stands out as more than just a fun activity—it’s an early education program rooted in child development principles, designed to build foundational skills during the critical first five years when 90% of brain development occurs. Here’s a breakdown of key benefits

  • Cognitive Development12
  • Physical (Motor) Development13
  • Social and Emotional Development14
  • Parent-Child Bonding15

Science Backing: While Zumbini itself was developed in collaboration with experts in child development (created by Zumba and BabyFirst TV), much of its foundation draws from extensive research on music and movement in early childhood. A 2019 thesis specifically examined Zumbini sessions and found they significantly increased physical activity levels in young children, both with and without disabilities, supporting motor skill enhancements. Broader studies validate these benefits.

  • Cognitive and Language Gains16
  • Motor and Physical Skills17
  • Social-Emotional and Overall Development18
